The Pharmacy Has Charged Me. What's Next?

Trouble shooting for copays at the pharmacy.

There are a few scenarios in which a pharmacy may think you owe a Fill Fee. Let's review them together.

  1. The pharmacy computer has processed a different prescription medication management member ID number.

    • Please double-check with your pharmacist that the computer has used your HSARx member ID number.

  2. The medication's tier has been confused.

    • Please ask the pharmacist what tier the claim says the medication is listed as.

    • If Tier 1 or 2, then you should NOT have a Fill Fee
